About Girish Prasad, CYT

Girish is a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT) and has graduated from Swami Vivekananda Anusandhan Vishwa Vidyalaya (University), Bangalore, India (SVYASA.ORG). Besides the above, Girish has also done a course on Advance Meditation. With an experience of almost two decades of teaching YOGA, he has perfected himself in PATANJALI YOGA, which is the originator of all types of YOGA. He has an outstanding knowledge of PATANJALI YOGA SUTRAS (Aphorism) and imparts them. Being a Retired Brigadier General of Indian Military, the discipline in Girish is inbuilt, which is the foremost requirement for learning Yoga.

Girish delights in sharing the gifts of yoga with others and is committed to providing a space that facilitates healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.  He is inspired by Swami Vivekananda and Sri Aurobindo and has done an exhaustive study of Bhagavad Gita and YOGA Upanishads.
